Bio
Selma Spath is Lebanese-American graduate of the BFA Fashion Design program at Parsons School of Design. During her time at Parsons, she honed her skills in both patternmaking and textile printmaking. In her textile and printmaking practice, she enjoys exploring the intersection between art and technology as well as the interaction between digital and analog. She is heavily inspired by her own childhood experience and the everyday heirlooms that her family has collected over decades. Selma is also heavily influenced by the sentimental value that an item can hold to its owner and aims to create pieces that the wearer will want to pass down to future generations.
