Hongru Tan is a Malaysian Chinese womenswear designer currently based in New York. Her sensitive emotion easily resonates with different people and tiny objects, utilizing art as her language, discovering and reinterpreting the beauty of every existence. She emphasizes the variety of emotions, telling the story of observing and embracing those subtle but impactful moments in everyone’s life. The great delicacy of her designed garments conveys her enthusiasm and dedication to the pursuit of art. She is ready to apply her professional experience to her future endeavor after working for Motoguo, Rui Official, and Proenza Schouler.
