Aishwarya Singhal

Aishwarya Singhal is a graduate of Parsons School of Design. She presents her ideas through details, colors and materiality to deliver her perspective to the viewers. Influenced from her Indian culture and her personal experiences, she wants to reflect on the existing gender stereotypes. In her thesis collection “/Empow.her ,” she wanders through the ideas of Masculine and Feminine and aims to empower women. Aishwarya’s talent has already been recognized as the recipient of 2017’s, Dean’s Scholarship for consecutive years from 2017-2022. She developed her understanding of the Fashion Industry from her internships at brands like Altuzarra, Oscar de la Renta and Cynthia Rowley.
